|1.||When HIRING, Costumes will be dispatched two days prior to date required, and should be received back within two days after use (USE COURIER ONLY) if costume/s aren’t back by Friday they start to incur extra charges/late fees. (Costumes may be hired for a longer period by prior arrangement), if you are hiring last minute/overnight shipping, we do all we can to get it to you in time, but once its left us we have no control over delivery, we do send you the tracking number so please contact the courier company to arrange delivery/pick up from their depot (if urgent)|
|2.||A bond will be charged on each costume, additional to the cost of hire. The bond is only a ‘Good Will Gesture’. It does not cover the complete value of the costume.
Once costumes have been returned, email through your bank account number so we can refund the bond.
|3.||Costumes are to be returned in the condition they were sent and in reasonable time, normal wear and tear/small marks are ok, but if there is damage or parts missing funds will be taken from the bond accordingly. COSTUMES MUST BE COURIERED BACK TO US-so there is a tracking number.|
|4.||The bond varies in accordance with the value of the costume – amount to be verified when order placed.|
|5.||Postage fees, if necessary, are to be paid both ways – again, this amount varies on the costume, depending on size and distance. Costumes to be sent via signature courier only. Please check our shipping/delivery conditions under “t&c’s” and check out the returns policy. When hiring costumes, shoes, wigs etc.. items are sent on overnight courier 1 – 2 days before they are required, if you are hiring multiple/large items there may be extra courier charges in which we will contact you. Rural and Saturday delivery is $6 extra.|
|6.||Late fees of $8.00 per day occur for costumes not received by due date.|
|7.||In the event a costume is unavailable we will make contact asap and work out a replacement, we do advise you to book your costume 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure its available.|
|8.||In the unlikely event that there is a problem with the costume delivered (wrong item, missing item, damaged etc.) please let us know ASAP, we will endeavor to put it right. If a refund is appropriate, the items MUST be returned immediately, not worn then returned, and a store credit will be issued. We don’t refund courier charges.|
|9.||Please check the sizing chart carefully, as no refunds will be given for garments/shoes/corsets/costumes etc.. that do not fit. The costumes are generally on the small side so choose a size bigger than you normally wear. The shoes are in NZ sizing-so choose your normal shoe size|
|10.||All hire fees are to be paid for in full before costume is sent.|
|11.||Please do not wash your costume, we do this ourselves after every costume hire. Costumes cannot be ironed.|
|12.||All cancellations will result in a 25% cancellation fee. If less than 5 days notice is given then no refund will be made.|
|13.||Once costume has been signed for, they are considered hired and they are your responsibility. No refunds will be given for costumes not worn, or costumes returned after the hire period. If you need to swap the costume as it doesn’t fit etc.., we will do our best to get it to you in time but you will be required to pay any courier charges.|
|14.||In the event that the costume is not returned, you will be charged the full purchase price of the costume. You will be liable and pay for all costs of recovery for the debt, which will be collected by a debt collection agency.Costs payable by the debtor shall include, legal fees, debt collection commissions, debt collection fee’s and debt collection disbursements, and /or court filing fees and disbursements.
Please remember, that the costumes belong to us, and we expect you to take good care of them while you have them on rental.
|15.||When buying/purchasing items eg-corsets, shoes, clothing ETC we guarantee they are brand new (everything for sale in the buy section is brand new unless labelled EX-RENTAL) and are not always in store – these may take 7-15 working days to arrive, we will send the tracking number when its on its way. If you need to return your purchase; wrong size/not suitable we will swap it but you will need to pay courier charges to return the item and send the new item. If you need to cancel your order for any reason including but not limited to item/s being out of stock/unavailable or discontinued, no refund will be given but we will issue a store credit to the value of the purchase. We have no control over shipment delays or the discontinuation of items so therefore cannot guarantee when your parcel will arrive, if you need something asap please phone first to see if its in stock otherwise we will assume you are happy to wait for it to be ordered, we do our best and order frequently, update our website as soon as we know of any discontinued items or changes in an items appearance.
Sales for the ex-rentals/clearance/sale items are as-is and final – no returns
When purchasing costumes as a general rule if the costume is over $99 its most likely a licensed product/quality branded costume, if under $95 its most likely to be a generic cheaper version, in which case the photo may differ to the actual product slightly, we do this so you have a choice. The ex-rentals are generally a used version of the quality branded costumes as we use those for our hires.
We don’t keep every shoe in stock, please allow 5-15 working days for these to arrive, if you need these asap please phone 075759403 to see if they’re in stock 🙂 The US sizes run a bit on the small side eg. a US 10 would be equivalent to a NZ 9, please be specific when ordering if you’d like us to order the US size or NZ equivalent, if we need to re-order from the USA because the size is wrong there will be a $25 re-stocking charge and $10 courier charge. Sometimes the styles/sizes available can change without any notice, if you want a particular style/size please contact us first to make sure it’s still available, otherwise we will let you know asap
